One day months after starting physio i decided that was it. My wallet nor my back could take it anymore. I decided to stop physio. I'm 6'3 my weight was up to 280lbs, even over that just before the surgery. prior to my injuries my weight never went pasted 240lbs. i was fit. I wanted my old physique back. seeing infomercials on p90x over and over again while i was bed ridding after the surgery, i decided to give that a shot. my wife started it with me for support. The 1st 3 days were rough it felt like a semi truck hit me  at full speed. It hurt, but the pain was good. pain that i knew i was doing something. once the 2nd week started i notice improvements in everything. My back got better and better. I felt the best i had in 5 yrs. I forgot what it was like to not have back pain. each week everything improved my back, build, and mental health. I was more confident, flexible, stronger. I have muscle in places i never knew i had. I am in week 6. My back pain no longer runs my life. I am down to 255 lbs. almost 30 lbs in 6 weeks. I know my weight would be far less if i followed the diet. I eat healthy but never followed the diet. So to see these results without the provided diet is still great in my books. The next round when i start the p90x i will follow the diet.

All the exercises I use to do in physio therapy are in P90x plus more. The key is not to hurt yourself and not push it. Do every exercise but do as many reps as you can do safely ,don't try to keep up with the pros in the DVD till your ready. So many exercises i thought i couldn't  even do once and almost didn't try. once i tried i ended up doing it 3 times then the week after 6 then 10. you will progress if you try.

P90x is a life saver it gave me a second chance at enjoying life. You get what you put in. You only got one body take care of it while you can , not everyone gets a second chance."

"When my gave me a gift of "Fitness On the Go"for my 42nd birthday, I didn't know what to expect!  From my initial contact the service was wonderful - I was introduced to Tyler Baldock, a certified trainer (he also has a kinesiology degree), and we set up my first appointment right at the house!  All the trainers are certified and highly educated when it comes to proper form, technique and body physiology so you don't have to worry about injury.  Tyler showed up with all of the equipment we needed and he proceeded to create a program that fit my fitness needs and time constraints.  The weather was great so we worked outdoors, with Tyler doing the exercises as well to ensure I knew the proper technique.  He created a very unique and exciting routine that made me think about each exercise which kept it fun and worthwhile.  When the weather was poor we worked out indoors as all the exercises, even the cardio, can be completed in a relatively small area.  Although you can request a trainer as often as you want we settled on one every two weeks, which gave me time to work on each program to perfect the exercise before Tyler's next visit.  The two best things about "Fitness On the Go" is the consistency you develop and the fact that they come right to your home so you can't run and hide!  If you buy a fitness club membership, sign a contract, pay monthly, go often at the beginning, become unsatisfied with the facility, staff, or the fact you need to line up for the equipment and then you lose momentum and consistency - so you stop going.  As far as the financial outlay of equipment all the bands, balls, weights, etc. that Tyler used are available for a very reasonable cost at Fitness Town.  So the overall investment when you combine the personal training and equipment is far less than the cost of the club membership you may not use!  I am still doing all the routines that Tyler created for me, have seen a great improvement in my overall fitness and would highly recommend "Fitness On the Go" for anyone wanting to get healthy!
