A big thank you to all that donated to this great cause. Because of your generous contributions we were able to send over 400 children to summer camps as well as hand out 1700 back packs stuffed with school supplies to children in need

Fitness Town is extremely happy to have had the opportunity to participate alongside other retailers such as Staples and Starbucks to assist the Salvation Army with their fund-raising endeavors. Every September, single-parent and low-income families struggle to equip their children for a new school year. Each year, The Salvation Army supports these families by distributing donated school supplies. Given the current economic downturn, The Salvation Army anticipated an increase in demand for this service. To handle the increased demand, during the months of July and August, all Lower Mainland Starbucks, Staples and Fitness Town locations collected donations, back packs and school supplies for the children in need, through The Salvation Army.
Were very happy to have had the support from our customers and suppliers in collecting backpacks for the B.C. Lower Mainland communities.
