Arlen is a certified fitness trainer and also has a background in nutrition. He has been active in the fitness industry since 1986.
Prior to being recruited to manage our Langley, Fitness Town location in 1997, Arlen was and still remains an avid athlete. Some of his sports include hockey, basketball, and soccer. He also played volleyball for the Canadian Junior National team.
Arlen is known for his professionalism and courteous nature. His wealth of knowledge in exercise physiology, fitness equipment, and nutrition has earned him the nickname "The Doc", as he is often referred to by both colleagues and clients.

Jamie Turner - Assistant Manager
Jamie is our token “Kiwi” and joined Fitness Town Langley in 2007 after spending 4 years of traveling the world and visiting more than 50 countries.
Jamie has been active in sports and fitness his entire life, and has had many achievements including: Representative Basketball, New Zealand Junior 400m champion, NZ junior 4x100m relay team. Most recently Jamie played rugby for Wellington back in New Zealand and also internationally on the IRB 7's circuit.
Jamie is a certified personal trainer (ISSA) and his motto of "Practice what you preach" is evident when you meet him. "I'm here to help you make the first step to improving your health and fitness for the short and long term”
Having such a wide background in competitive sports means Jamie has a huge knowledge base in specific sports training (excluding hockey) He's still trying to figure that one out.

When not working, Jamie can be found working out himself, training clients, playing poker or enjoying a good movie.
David Schultz
Dave has spent his whole
life playing and also coaching sports such as Volleyball for B.C. and also
Swimming Nationally where he picked up a silver medal in the 100m butterfly.
After playing Volleyball for many
years, Dave decided to start his own volleyball club "Surrey Stealth", which
included some of the best players in B.C. at the time. “Coaching and weight
training have always been my favorite things to do” .
Dave gets a real thrill out of
helping people reach there goals, no matter what they are.
When not working, Dave spends alot
of time with his family and you can always find him in the gym. When looking
for advice on what fitness equipment is best suited for you, Dave is here to help you.

Tyrell Mara
Tyrell Mara has been passionate about health and fitness
from a very young age. In high school Tyrell led the White Rock Christian
Academy Warriors to 2 AAA Provincial Basketball Championships. After WRCA,
Tyrell signed a 4 year basketball scholarship to division 1 PortlandStateUniversity. While
completing his degree in Business Management, Tyrell earned the Captain role at
PSU and helped lead his team to it’s first two Conference Championships and
consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.
After graduating from PortlandState, Tyrell has come back home to
begin his Masters in Business Administration at TrinityWesternUniversity. He is also
continuing his basketball career as one of the captains of the TWU Basketball
team.
Tyrell has had the advantage of training with some of the
highest level strength, conditioning, and health experts in the global sports
industry, and he strives to build on this body of knowledge through all avenues
of sports and fitness.
Some of Tyrell’s future goals and aspirations are to win a
CIS National Championship, play professional basketball overseas in Europe or Australia,
compete in the Summer Olympics in either track and field (discus) or
basketball, and to take a surf trip to every continent in the world. Through
everything Tyrell does, his heart lies in giving back to his community, being a
constant positive influence on those around him, and a role model and mentor to
those who look up to him.
