 | Chris DucharmeChris Ducharme is a dad. Known as Big Poppa, Chris Ducharme is dedicated to achieving results in many areas of his life as well as his family. For just under a decade, Chris Ducharme has been an asset to the Fitness Town team. When Chris comes to work, his goal is to help as many people as he can to attain their fitness goals.
"What makes me happy is to ensure that my customer doesn't just buy something, but buys the right things because I know that if they buy the right thing then they are coming back to see me for other things they need. I know I did my job when I help someone understand how fitness equipment can work to their advantage and how exercise can be simple, easy & fun. My experience is that results can come quickly if you use all the elements of fitness. i.e.. Strength, Cardio, Stretching, Supplementation, Nutrition and Support or Mentorship. When I wake up, I always say to myself that I am going to help 10 people with tools to get them healthy and keep them healthy."
In addition to Fitness town, Chris has spent the last 4 years coaching his and other kids in athletics. With an athletic background in various sports ranging from Basketball to Football to Bowling, Chris understands what it takes and dedicates his extra time to mentoring youths in Sports.
Currently, is a member at the Bonsor Recreation center where he can bee spotted at 6:30am training with friends. Chris Coaches 2 grade levels within the Steve Nash Basketball League and holds a level 101 Coaching certificate. Next season, Chris looks to add Assistant Coach (Flag 6yr-7yr) in the CMFA (Coquitlam Minor Football Association) to his schedule and is looking to attain his 201 coaching certificate.
My #1 goal is to help my kids to understand that fitness is important and to incorporate fitness into their lifestyle as a habit.
