North West Rubber Ltd., was founded in 1968 in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada. In the late 60s and early 70s, the company picked up scrap tires and buffings from the local area, ground them up, and manufactured rubber mats. These mats were purchased for use in horse and dairy stalls, ice rinks, gyms, and pick-up truck beds. Over the years, the business has grown and changed from a small, regional manufacturer of crude rubber products, to a leading, global recycled rubber manufacturer. Today, North West Rubber is one of the largest rubber mat manufacturers in the world. The company owns and operates manufacturing facilities in Ontario, British Columbia, and Beijing. Their products are distributed all over the world! North West Rubber markets its fitness flooring products under the following trademarks: North West Rubber, SportFloor (Recreational Flooring) and FitFloor. |
