CrossFit is (by definition) Constantly Varied, Functional Movements Carried Out At High Intensities...

But what the heck does that mean?!

 CrossFit is an approach to fitness that has an emphasis on general physical preparedness. This means that the focus of the exercises is on anything that is directly transferable to real life. The goal of CrossFit is to make your everyday life easier and more efficient. One of the key aspects of CrossFit is avoiding routine, by keeping everything as “random” as possible; a CrossFit coach is able to produce more results in their athletes than most other styles of exercise.

That being said, the biggest question posed to most CrossFit coaches is who can do CrossFit? The answer to this question quite simply is ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY! No matter what lift or workout you are doing, an educated coach can scale and adapt any exercise so that anybody of any age, sex, and fitness level can participate and reap the benefits of this great sport.

CrossFit is an excellent tool that can be used no matter what your fitness goals are. If you want to lose weight, gain flexibility, put on muscle or any other possible goal you may want to reach; CrossFit can help you get there.
